The Me Now Interviewing The Year 2050 Me
To let you understand how I plan to live my life, I decided to interview the older me. When I mean older, I mean the year 2050 me. Here is the interview.
Young Tyette: As you reflect back on your life, what are the core values and principles that have been influential in developing your character and making decisions?
Older Tyette: As far as core values go, I definitely would have to say that a couple core values have influenced the development of my character. The most important ones have to be accountability, consistency, commitment, passion, and efficiency. These made me the person I am today because they make me remember when things get hard that I can do whatever. They kept me focused and on track. As far as principles, I would have to say that they all have, but I'll just give you one. The most important one that has helped me develop my character and helped me make decisions has to be the principle that says one should help those no matter how much they have. This principle has been used many times throughout my life in various situations, and it has never failed me so that's why it's the most important one.
YT: How would you like your family members, friends, and co-workers to describe your personal style of leadership?
OT: I would like them to describe it as self leadership. What I mean by this is that I want them to say that she did what she wanted to in order to help those that needed it. She never let anyone discourage her and never let anyone tell her that she couldn't do anything. She was a person that lead with her heart and mind, but also with knowledge and equality.
YT: What contributions or achievements have you accomplished?
OT: I've been able to lower the homeless and poverty percentage. I've also been awarded the Nobel Peace Prize for my book Believe And Go After, which talks about how to lead. I hate to talk about my accomplishments because I don't do the things I do for myself to be acknowledged, I do these things to help others so that they can help others.
YT: Any last few words you would like to leave us with?
OT: Lead by example. Don't knock people down to get yourself somewhere either.
YT: Thank you.
OT: No Thank you.
